PROP A:
THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of not to exceed $27,576,000 of Leon Independent School District School Building Bonds for the purposes of designing, constructing, renovating, improving, upgrading, updating, acquiring, and equipping school facilities, with preference on projects related to safety and security; playgrounds; career, agriculture, and technical education programs; a multipurpose facility to include space for UIL extracurricular activities, including band and fine arts; projects related to the gymnasium plus the baseball, softball, and tennis facilities; the purchase of school buses, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.

THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of not to exceed $10,655,000 of Leon Independent School District School Building Bonds for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, renovating, improving and equipping athletic facilities, with preference on projects related to the football stadium, including new turf, visitor stand, a press box; new track; golf facilities; and projects related to concessions, bathrooms, and transportation, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.

LEON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT – PROPOSITION D
THIS IS A TAX INCREASE.
Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.7467 in Leon Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 1.19 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $614,967.90.
